Of kewl dudes and chill pills...

Whenever there is a terrorist attack or a bomb blast...most of us convince ourselves that it doesnt matter to us. It reminds me of a poem I read somewhere...

"First they came for the Communists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me. "

Communal??

I always believed that Congress(I) is the most communal and funadamentalistic political party in India. All the PMs from that G-N family are bloody fundamentalists.

The recent 104th Constitutional Amendment Bill proved my belife once again. The worst communal party backed by the Loonie commies got the bill approved with minimum fuss. Is there any oppositon party in the House? What is BJP doing?

Why should private "unaided" educational institutions make room for reservations? Who will be bearing that cost? The answer is "the so called upper caste Hindu kids will be paying for their so called Lower caste brotheren".

Then, why cant this be extended to the minority institutions? Why are they left out? Is it a dictum from Rome and Riyadh?

Or is it another armtwisting by the Catholic Church hinting Hindus that "Eitehr Convert or Perish"?
So much for Secularism.....hell with it...

PS: Natwar would be thinking " Arjun bhai tera bhi time aaayega...tu bhi banega scapegoat ek din.."

When the Christists or Muslims...keep the sword on his head and tell him "convert or die.."...I dont think it is a problem for Mr. Arjun Singh as he has sold his soul already.

The Temple that is.....

" The Self dwells in the lotus of the heart and for this
He is known as the Lord of the heart.
A sage knows this and in meditation
he visits this temple in the heart,
Day after day he enjoys the kingdom of heaven inside."

The right to kill.....

To save the life of an Indian imprisoned by Pakistan , our media made a hue and cry.No idea what happened to that guy but our Media made the Pakistani general look like a moderate diplomat. They tried help him improve his image.

There is this poor truck driver Maniappan Kutty from Kerala who was kidnapped by Taliban in Afghanistan. Our secular govt didnt even bother to save him. India is helping that bloody country in every aspect and we cant even save Indians who work there. The media didnt bother much about the incident.More surprisingly, there is hardly any reaction from the Kerala govt.Is this because the guy is from so called Majority community??
Finally, those fanatics have killed the poor guy. In a country where even the captured terrorists are not shoot at once, there are many like Mr. Maniappan Kutty who die because of the incapable and reluctant govts.

Another side of the same coin:

Sometime back it was Satyendra Dubey from NHAI and now it is Manjunath from IOC. Can govt crib that students from top notch institutes are queing up to join MNCs? Or do they say that join the PSUs and be a part of the corruption pool?

Jokers...!!!!

These NDTV wallahs never fail to amuse me. They always amuse me with their screwed up reports and rhetoric.

I happened to see Nitish Kumat being interviewed by Pranoy Roy and Burkha Dutta...the self proclaimed "best jopurnalists in India".

Pranoy roy: Sir, do you think your victory is a lesson to BJP?

Me: How the f***? Is this guy gone nuts...it could be a lesson to Lalu but how in the hell it can be a lesson to BJP?

Burkha Dutta: Sir, do you think your victory should tell BJP that the Hardline HIndutva is not going to succeed?

Me: Huhhh..!!! Where did they learn this logic? Why cant it be a lesson to Ram Vilas Paswan who put up a dummy Bin Laden to gain the muslim votes, who claimed he wants to see a muslim become the CM of Bihar? Why BJP?? BJP has won more number of seats than RJD and Congress put together. Why cant this be a lesson to Congress that they cant team up with goons and win the elections?

All the time these two were talking about BJP blah blah blah blah...Hindutva blah blah blah...Why are these people so obsessed with BJP and Hindutva? I think they think more about Hindutva than BJP itself.

But the jewel in the crown of NDTV is that young reporter from Patna who was so excited and read out that "Mr. Nitish Kumar has put an end to the 15 yrs of "BJP" rule in Bihar".

Me: WTF...which world is this guy living in? As far as I know it was Lalu's RJD ruling Bihar for the past 15 years.

I laughed my ass off...these bong NDTV reporters are brainwashed so much about BJP and Hindutva that they talk about BJP and Hindutva while reporting any news.

And our BCCI leaves NDTV much much behind in amusing me.
" Sourav Ganguly finds a place in Indian test team"....

Rediff report:

"Ganguly, who was earlier stripped of the ODI and Test captaincy, was included in the team as a "'batting all-rounder'"(battling would ve been a better word) after a marathon meeting of the five-member selection committee meeting in Chennai

Ganguly has always been a better oneday player than a test player. How come he finds a place in Test team and not in the oneday team? Is there that much dearth of test players in India?

Pyaar, Katrina , Rita and our Media...!!

Pyaar is not the "Hindi" Pyaar. It is the name of the cyclone that hit Orissa and Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last week.

http://www.newindpress.com/NewsItems.asp?ID=IEH20050921115204&Page=H&Title=Top+Stories&Topic=0

It is a Myanmarese word that means `flattened'.

The Cyclone caused a havoc in coastal Andhra. It caused a damage of 18000 Crores and claimed 54 lives, though not a great number as far as Indian media is concerned and 1000 people are missing .10 districts are flooded 1.4 Lakh people are evacuated. See this TOI report

http://epaperdaily.timesofindia.com/Daily/skins/TOI/navigator.asp?Daily=TOIM&login=sunnynu&AW=1127360342640

Our English Language media has just given superficial details of the cyclone. They dedicated "some" screen time for this coverage.

When you look at the Indian News Channels on TV, you really wonder which country you are living in.The screen time they dedicated to cover the news of Katrina in New Orleans is considerably much longer than what they dediceted for the coverage of "Pyaar", which incidentally ravaged our backyard.

I just switched on the TV to see how the relief work is going on...and I dont find a mention of "Pyaar" anywhere. They are busy airing the news of "Rita" that is going to hit Texas soon.

Our Indian govt has announced some aid to for the victims of "Katrina" with in no time. Why are they taking so much time to announce any aid to the cyclone hit areas in Orissa and Andhra? Our PM Manmohan singh is busy visiting the Lord of Tirupathi. Isnt he supposed to supervise the relief work there? What is he doing in Tirupathi at this time? Praying for his power to stay or is it a dictum from Her Majesty to go and check the 7 hills for the occupation of Evangelists??

Ohhh...there were some self proclaimed humanitarians who pledged their solidarity to the victims of Katrina ..all over the Internet. Where are they now? Are they pledging their solidarity to the victims of "Pyaar"?

The cyclone might be small compared to katrina and the aftereffects might be different too. But the loss of 54 lives is not small and the number of people who are displaced from their homes is also not small.

Or is it the efficiency of our Govt which made the cyclone look "not that serious"?

A family with a "Difference"...

The recent report about the KGB buying some Indian "leaders" to get internal secrets is no shocker. Everyone knows that our "netas" can go to any extent for money. There is no harm now as the KGB itself is dead and Russia is a spent force.

The real threat now is China. Our Communist brothers are reigning Delhi and they dont miss any opportunity to showcase their loyalty to Communist China.

Who knows ??...they might be supplying all the internal secrets to China free of cost. Do we realise this only after China invade India and make it another Tibet ot Taiwan??

Tail Piece: How about following our Bollywood in this sense and asking Rahul Gandhi to get tattooed "mera baaap chor hai" "meri dadi desh drohi hai" "mera pardada tho us se bada desh drohi hai"...

Paki Media....???

All these days I thought NDTV is an Indian News Channel. But I have my own doubts now.

One headline reads " PM Manmohan Singh meets US President Bush on ...."

Another headline reads " Manmohan Singh to meet President Musharaff".

I ve seen this umpteen number of times on NDTV that they address Pakistan President as "Presidnet Musharaff " and our own PM as "Manmohan Singh".

When it is with US president our PM is PM Manmohan Singh and when it is with that filthy self proclaimed Paki Gen it is Manmohan Sing...!!!!!

They will realize the day when some Paki terrorist blows away their TV station or some near and dear.

What the hell is wrong with these guys? Are they Pakistan based news channel?

Huhhhh......!!!!!!!!

Free???

you grow up hearing the song of freedom. Time and again you are told that you can choose the way you tread and you have options to choose from, many options. You love life and its pleasant surprises. You start admiring life's unpredictability and love to make most of those uncertainities. You grow up to become an optimist. YOu see clear skies, green grass and sunshines. YOu see innumerable possibilities.

By the time you start feeling strong enough life opens the doors to reality. You realise that you are not what you thought to be. YOu are not free as much as you assumed to be.You are vulnerable to the misdeeds of your people. You are vulnerable to their indifference. Their follies can still hurt you. YOu no more enjoy their fancies and whims. YOu dont do anything wrong yet you suffer.YOu become a slave to the actions of people you live with. YOu can neither enjoy solitude nor their company. In solitude you think about their actions and in their company you long to be let alone.

You are no more a bundle of joy.YOu fail to distinguish between pain and joy because you come to conclusion that both of them are illusions. Your smiles are a matter of fact, your tears dry up, you become indifferent to everything that is happening around you. You talk, walk, work yet you are not invloved in anyone of these actions. YOu just do it for the heck of it. You neither resent doing anything nor enjoy doing anything.

So, what is wrong? Is it something to do with your conditioning or you as such? Or is it that you expect too much from the people around you? When you have nothing to do with their actions why do those actions matter to you? You are neither the source nor the target of their actions, yet why do they hurt you?

Gone Missing...

Nanavati commission report is made public and it clearly tells us who are the culprits.

Where are the self -proclaimed secularists and human rights activists who scouted for the blood of Narendra Modi.......like
Shabana Azmi,
Teesta Seetalvad,
Mahesh Bhatt,
Javed Akthar,
Kuldip Nayyar,
Arundhati Roy.....and their ilk.?????

yes, I can figure out the reason....Sikhs dont have any Godfathers in other countries like Pakistan, Europe and US to sponsor these so called "Secular and Human Rights activists".

After all it is one of their Secular bothers who is indicted........;)

detoxification....!!!

As usual good stuff from Mr. Gurumurthy.

http://www.newindpress.com/newspages.asp?page=2&Title=Second+Article&

I was discussing about the problems that India facing today on an online community and I was talking about the same point. Our education system tries to demaean things which are Indian. It never asks a kid to be proud of his origin rather it tells him that he should learn to live like someonelse.

"detoxifying ‘truths’ are contained in textbooks to educate young India. Obviously, Secular India has accepted the Marxian view as its view of the timeless India. So the message is clear: deride revered symbols like Rama and Krishna, demean noble souls like Sri Ramakrishna and devalue great heroes like Prithviraj. So that young India does not look up to them, or to anyone within India, for inspiration and looks elsewhere".

Mr Gurumurthy is at his best when he said

" Asked why a book in which Sri Ramakrishna is described in demeaning terms was permitted by NCERT, the HRD Minister Arjun Singh gave a lecture to the media on history writing. ‘‘History has to be written after carefully weighing all facts”. “Of course, I have not read the book in question. If it is so written we should look into it!” “Should look into it” — what a sober reply! He could afford to be sober as he knows that no mob will burn down government owned buses or buildings for vulgarising one of the greatest spiritualists of all time, Sri Ramakrishna. There will be no fatwas kill the writers, no bandh or violence. Thus goes on detoxification to save secularism. Notwithstanding that it corrupts, even destroys, the idea of India in the mind of young, unwary Indian".

The Winning habit.

England have finally manged to win the 2nd test of Ashes. They almost screwed it up that I thought they lost it. They deserved to win the match as they outplayed ozzies in all the departments. Flintoff played his heart out and proved that he is a genuine alrounder who can make differnce. Once again the Ozzie attack wihout McGrath looked ordinary.

The game reminded me one thing the Geff Boycott said once that Winning is a habit.

In normal life also, you see some guys make it a habit. They go to any exam and they come out with flying colours. Where as there are many others who are good enough but they stumble at the last step. They are as good as the winner but what they lack is that "winning habit".

In that second Ashes test when Ozzies were 8 down with more that 125 runs to score, everyone thought it is a matter of time for England to win. But the English who havent won any test against the Ozzies in the recent past were full of butterflies. The thought of winning excited them so much that they didnt bowl properly.Flintoff was stretched a bit far I think. But who cares, a win is a win after all and they deserved it.The Ozzies as usual are resilient, they alsmost won the match.

But, I think that ball of Shane Warne to Strauss on the second day, which spun some 2 meters, is the best ball in the recent times. Warne is not old yet, he is still the best spinner in the world.

India has won the match against Windies and reached the triseries finals. Good..isnt it??? Especially the batting of Yuvaraj and Kaif needs to be appreciated. They played well though against a weak bowling attack.

But what I hated to see is that expression of Yuvaraj after reaching his 100. Every Indian can read out his lips. Yes, he played superbly but what he needs to know is that is his first century in the last 1 year. I think he was reacting to his exclusion in the team for one match against Sri Lanka.

It is better he talks with his bat frequently rather than uttering some expletive whenever he hits some runs once in a bluemoon. He can learn much from his seniors like Rahul Dravid and Sachin who are epitomes of modesty. Sachin has hit more than 35 centuries and none has seen his uttering such words even once. Critics called him selfish, record-wanting etc.etc...but he never behaved like this.

What makes people like Sachin, Roger Federer, Michael Schumacher legends is their modesty. It is better our young players learn these things from the greats.

In death we differ...

The way media reacts to similar happenings.....at different places. When someone bombed Bombay, it was because their sentiments were hurt. But, when they bomb London or US, it is because they are "terrorists". Those who bomb mainland India are freedom fighters and those who bomb US or London are "terrorists".

BBC:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4659093.stm
London rocked by terror attacks
Guardian:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/pakistan/Story/0,2763,1029393,00.html
45 killed in Bombay bomb blasts
http://politics.guardian.co.uk/terrorism/story/0,15935,1523933,00.html
Four bombs in 50 minutes - Britain suffers its worst-ever terror attack
Compare the following sttaements from the Guardian reports.
On the Bombay blasts -There was no immediate claim of responsibility last night - but suspicion is likely to fall on Islamist extremists, possibly taking revenge for last year's communal riots in the neighbouring state of Gujarat, where 2,000 Muslims died.
On the London blasts -At least 38 people were killed yesterday and more than 700 injured as terrorists struck at the heart of London, causing the biggest loss of life in a terrorist attack on mainland Britain.

Reuters:

Four blasts tore through packed trains and a bus during London rush hour on Thursday, killing over 33 people and disrupting a summit of world leaders in Scotland in the deadliest PEACETIME ATTACK on the capital.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/allnews/
content_objectid=13330948_method=full_siteid=

The 1993 bombings followed Hindu-Muslim riots triggered by the destruction by Hindu zealots of a 16th century mosque in the northern town of Ayodhya. Hindu hardliners say the mosque was built on the site of a Hindu temple.
Since then, Ayodhya has been a lightning rod for tensions.

But, isnt this bombing a retaliation of the genocide that is happening in Iraq and such counties for the Western oil greed?
On an average, 50 people die every week in Iraq and Kashmir due to different state sponsored terrotism. But, they are taken for granted because the victims are not Whites. It is as simple as that. Somehow our Indian media is besotted with the same syndrome. They cry from roof tops about the attacks on western countries where as attacks in Iraq and Kashmir get very little mention.

Tennis Time.

Yes, it is time for tennis.I cant say that I am a religious follower of tennis. However, few years back I used to watch every single match of two players.

Pistol Pete and Steffi. Both are legends in their own styles. Pete, a grass court invincible. stefi, an invincible on any court.Once these two retired, I almost stopped watching Tennis.

People claimed that Hewitt is the next King, but I never liked his game and his girly -whines. Media said "Andy Roddick" arrived. But, I was skeptical about these two.

I watched Marat Safin beating Pete in US open final. This guy was amazing. He looked like a big player. I thought he could be the future king, though I didnt like his tempermental nature that was evident in the following championships.

While all this was happening, there is a silent assasin who made his way into the grand slam stage.
Roger Federer arrived very calmly without any hype. I started watching him but without any expectations with One thing in my mind"can he be another Pete?".

Though not ewxactly of the same style, he is another Pete on grass court. He is the King of grass. I dont think any of his contemporaries posess the same talent.

He is talented and he is humble. He is the reigning king of tennis. There is only one man who can stop this express. Marat Safin. But, Safin is not all that good on grass. On any other surface I would have said anything can happen. But on grass, I am sure ruthless Roger Federer will prevail.

But, is there a successor to Stefi??I dont see any of these gals capable of matching that talent. Though Sherapova might win the title she is no way near Stefi or for that matter Martina.

WTF...??????????????

I hate to use the three lettered expression...but last week...I uttered the same umpteen number of times.

The State Govt of Andhra Pradesh lead by Mr. Y. Samuel Rajashekhar Reddy confirmed 5% reservations for Muslims. With this, the total reservations in Andhra becomes 51%. So, all the so called majorities or forward castes consisting of Brahmins, Reddys, Naidus, Vaishyas etc...can compete for those remaining 49% or they can migrate to other states....wait....but the scenes in other states are not that rosy either....so, they can migrate to countries like US, UK etc...and live the lives of Sand-Niggers ....no probs....at least they are given enough opportunites in those countries. Congress govts in different states can ask Bangladesh and Pakistan to let their populace migrate into India so that the geographic distribution is maintained after all the Hindus leave the land.

The Dy CM of Karnataka almost got killed himself and some 8 bystanders when he fiddled with a Proclianer. Officials blamed the driver because he was not able to control the vehicle while Dy CM pressed a control button. One 8th std student lost his leg in this freak mishap.
I think they are filing a case against the driver now....though everyone knows who is responsible for the mishap.

Now into world of Sport:

The World Champions and supposedly invincibles....Ozzies lost to minnows Bangladesh. That too....Bangladesh chased a total of 250 against the Ozzie attack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Adding insult to injury, they lost to England in the next game. In the triangular series featuring Aussies, Eng and Bangladesh......the Ozzies are at 3rd place.

The FIA screwed up with the US GP and it is pathetic to see only 6 cars running there. Schumi won an empty race and the F1 fans lost. If FIA keeps doing such stupid thigs....I doubt whether I will be able to watch Formula One after some 3 years.

On the other side....

Greece are shown what they really are when it comes to Football in the Confederations cup. A 3-0 thrashing by the World Champions Brazil and a 1-0 loss to Asian Champs Japan show the quality they have.

Long live Democracy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"when the time came to choose a prime minister in the interim government of 1946, out of the 20 DPCC members who voted, 19 voted for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and that it was only after Gandhiji asked him to stand down in favour of Nehru that the latter became prime minister"

Isnt congress still keeping with the tradition???;-)

still colonised????

Our indian CEOs really surprise me. The moment I think that they are the best intelluctuals available in the country, they do something or the other to change my opinion. The great NRN proved that he is another please-all by proposing reservations in the private sector.Bang...all the respect I had for him vanished in a giffy.

There was a column by Jerry Rao ( CEO of Mphasis) in the New Indian express dtd:26th May 2005. The topic attracted my attention as it is about one of the suckers in the past..namely Thomas MaCauly of British India. Some of the points made by the authror really surprised me. Has he written the article himself? Has he done his homework well before making those statements??
When a Technocrat writes an article in a newspaper, people attatch lot of credibility to it. The wirting can influence differnt people given the present socio-economic conditions of the country.

http://www.newindpress.com/newspages.asp?page=m&Title=Main+Article&aDate=5%2F26%2F2005

Let me quote some of the points he made.

"Macaulay was not even a governor-general or viceroy. He was a humble “member of the governor-general’s council”.

sir, Harikishan Singh Surjeet is not even a memeber of Parliament. Still he execrcises more power than our Prime Minister. After some 50 years when our grand children read history, they would definitely wonder how a man like Harikishan Singh Surjeet influenced the policy making.
"He thought of Indians as primitive, childish people. The closest comparison he had was to untutored Russians before Peter the Great transformed them."

Wrong, I mention here a letter written by Thomas Macauly:

" I have travelled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such calibre, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and , therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self-esteem, their native self-culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation’ (this letter can be seen at the British museum in London, UK)."

"I, for one, am grateful to Macaulay. Without his gift to us, so many of us would be lesser individuals, not just different individuals"

This really amazes me. Had there been no British invention, India would be a much better nation than what it is now. For that matter, had there been no Moslem invasions , India would still be the richest country in the world. so, saying that without someones's contribution this present wont be there is an asinine statement. Presnt development doesnt justify past mistakes and atrocities.

Have yu bothered to verufy any stats sir??

If you look at the statistics in 1820, India's share of world production was 19%, and England's share was 9%, please note that Britain was deep into the industrial revolution at that time. 18% of the world trade was in Indian hands at that time whereas 8% was the figure for Britain and 1% for US. When 80% of the American population was engaged in agriculture, India had 60% of the population engaged in non-agricultural occupations. This is supposed to be an index of development. All these statistics can be found in Paul S. Kennedy's "Rise and Fall of Great Powers".

"English is not just a medium or a means to an end; it is part of our very consciousness. The interesting thing is even while writing on completely Indian subjects, this consciousness has been a powerful force.Just consider the individuals and their writings: Vivekananda on Vedanta, Coomaraswamy on Indian Art, Aurobindo Ghose on Vedic Mysticism, Radhakrishnan on the Hindu View of Life, Krishnan on Indian Wildlife, Srinivas on Caste, Zakaria on Indian Muslims, Sircar on Indian History, Guha on Indian Cricket, Nandy on Indian Science, Kakkar on Indian Sexuality, Khushwant Singh on Indian Gossip. The list is endless.

Isnt this statement superflous? English language might suite well for Kakkar and Kushwant Singh but the langauge pales when you read those works of ancient sages translated to this language. Bernard Shaw himslef acknowledged that English is not enough to express all the sounds that exist.

We are speaking english because we were conquered by english. That is it.Look at Germany, they dont speak an iota of english. Still the way they emerged as a technology force is something great. Look at China, they hardly speak any english. Still the have been a successful nation. The reason I think these nations are successful is they are never colonised. India was colonised and our minds are still colonised whatever walk of life we are in.

"In short, a revisionist view of our British imperial legacy is overdue. Indira Gandhi can be our Dalhousie-putri (they both impoverished maharajas and nawabs); Jaswant Singh can be our Curzon-putra (they both worried about our security in a dangerous neighbourhood); and we can all be proud Macaulay-putras"

Not all Indians are that shameless dear Technocrat!!

50% reservation for muslims in Alighar Muslim University is a great step in improving the conditon of minorities.
How communal it would be to propose some 10% reservation for Hindus in Benaras Hindu University ??? ;)

Say No to Mushh

want to have this on your blog....follow the link http://opinion.paifamily.com/articles/nomush.html

Mean Media....

Some head lines on various media channels which made me laugh ( actually think):

Headlines Today:

President Musharaff will be attending a dinner hosted by Manmohan Singh.

NDTV:

President Musharaff meets President Kalam.

It really made me think that my GK is bad. Am I missing something here?
Who is this President Musharaff??? Isnt there someone called General Musharaff who is the selfdeclared President of our neighbour Pakistan??

Why is it so difficult to call him Pakistan President or President of Pakistan??

How can media be so shameless in calling our PM ....just Manmohan Singh...shouldnt he be called Prime Ministed Manmohan Singh??

How can they come up with something like President Musharaff meets President Kalam??
These are the people who pride themselves with their knowledge in English. Isnt there a mistake in clarity?? Whose president is meeting whom??

Why is media going gaga over someone who has been harbouring cross border terrorism? Is it really necessary to welcome him with a red-carpet. Why are we heeding to his demands and trying to please a terrorist? If they want peace talks...let them be peace talks. No filthy cricket series and Pseudo-friendship parties.

They had a magazine progamme on one of the channels about what Gen Mush is going to eat and how they are prepared. I changed the channel immediately fearing that they are going to show where the Gen is going to shit and what kind of toilet paper he is going to use. Does he use anything at all??

Indian Govt is planning to run trucks over the border. Yeah, that will bring infiltration in J& K down. Now the jihadis have alternatives. They can either take the bus or they can travel by trucks. There will not be any infiltrations.

I still wonder why Indian govt is sucking up the @#$ of Pakistan.

some thoughts......

  • 4th ODI b/w India and Pakistan: Indians thought they are supposed to win this match and scored 315 runs. Suddenly, a govt communique comes and says that Pakistan has to win this match otherwise miya Musharaff wont be visiting Delhi. Dada takes the blow , poor Sachin gets another 100 while India loses. Sachin bashers have something to cheer for...that Sachins' centuries never won India matches.
  • The BCCI didnt have the guts to drop Ganguly....so they asked ICC to do something to keep dada away. ICC obliged and banned him for 6 matches for slow over rate. Finally, the skipper is dropped.
  • In the after math of China accepting Sikkim as a part of India, our UPA govt is planning to request China to accept all the other states also as Intergral parts of India. What a beningn gesture from China.....
  • NDTV is giving so much airtime to RSS and VHP. Even they had a discussion about RSS criticizing BJP about leadership issue. After all....isnt it a fun when your enemies are fighting among themselves???
  • There was a communist leader on NDTV preaching about leadership yesterday. He was claiming that these leadership issues surface among parties which doesnt have a rich culture of leadership. way to go for our communists......after all they have leaders even from foreign countries....
Back to Football:

It is sad to see what has happened at San Siro Y'day. A thrilling match coming to such an end doesnt augur well for the great game. AC Milan should go to semis without any rematch as they are already leading 3-0. They are the only team left to cheer for.

Added later:

Yeah, the semi final lineup is drawn.

AC Milan Vs PSV
Chelsea Vs Liverpool

It will be a cake walk for Milan.
I really support Liverpool here. Comeon Reds....thrash those lucky blues....Mourinho needs some thrashing.

A final of AC Milan Vs Liverpool ...

and no marks for guessing who will be the eventual winner.

Look !! who is talking.....

Lakhs of dead people in and around Iraq, thousands in Vietnam, millions around Asian-African borders.....they were all not humans. Deaths of those people dont matter to anyone. Everyone knows who is responsible for all those deaths. The one and only Super Power ......

made me really laugh.

T V Parasuram in Washington | March 29, 2005 09:50 IST

India's human rights enforcement record has been poor and needs improvement despite being a vibrant democracy with strong constitutional protections, the United States said in a report.

The State Department on Monday, however, said the new UPA government at the Centre has started addressing rights concerns.

While lauding the Centre for "rewriting school text books" and "addressing the aftermath of the Gujarat riots", the report reiterated its concern over the situation in the state.

"Following its electoral victory in May, the government began to address a number of human rights concerns that have arisen in recent years. For example, it moved quickly to rewrite school textbooks, in order to stress the contributions of the Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist and Christian minority communities," it said.

However, it said, the rewriting of the textbooks has not been completed, and alleged that the Gujarat government has not recalled its old textbooks or announced plans for their replacement.

"The government also began to address the aftermath of the 2002 Gujarat riots," it said and noted that the Supreme Court had ordered local courts to reopen over 2,000 cases connected with the post-Godhra riots.

But by the end of last year, "the report on the number of cases that should be reopened had not been submitted to the Supreme Court, and only three cases related to the Gujarat rioting had completed trial in the lower level courts," it charged.

The report claimed that human rights organisations and religious groups remained concerned about allegations of witness intimidation by local leaders in Gujarat.

You get the picture right??

I found another link somewhere else....and it made lot of sense. Esp ..in a country like Pakistan, a paper publishing this kind of article....wow....our media needs to learn a lot.

The Myth of History: Prof.Shahida Kazi" and its URL is:

http://www.dawn.com/weekly/dmag/dmag1.htm

Why dont we present the truths about our History?? If Germany can tell their kids that Hitler was not a hero..why cant we tell our kids that Ghazni, Ghori , Akbar and Aurangzeb are not heros?? If it hurts a community...let it be.

If they can write in text books about the evils of Hinduism ...why cant they write about the evils of Islam, Christian evangelism etc.

I still wonder how rewriting school textbooks related to Human Rights * shakes head in confusion*

Motive behind Narendra Modis' Visa

Sonia should have played her cards well. But she is not a master of these political games even though she is good. The Jharkhand and Goa issues pointed towards the power hunger and ruthlessness of Sonia. She has to do something to shift the focus. There is should be some other issue to divert the attention of non-exixtent "media watch dog".

Then came the Condolesa Rice's visit to India and the first meeting she had was with Sonia. Violaaa...!!! The visit came as a blessing in disguise for Sonia. A proper plan is chalked out and immediately, the foreign consulate of US of A rejected the VISA for Gujarat CM Narendra Modi on Human Rights grounds.

Entire media and country turns towards that and suddenly everyone forgets about Jharkhand and Goa. Do we call Sonia politically immature???

People of India , beware. She is here for a purpose and she is ruthless in execution.
What a way to divert focus??

The great indian intellectauls are still lost in debating about the VISA issue. They completely forgot about Jharkhand, Goa and an imminent Bihar.

A country of billion gullibles........hats off to the lady from Italy.

A Day for Women...!!!

Warning: This post might contain some so called "Sexist" opinions. Women who feel strong about it may refrain from reading.

yatra nAryasthu pUjyanthe ramanthe thatra dEvatAh |

yatrEtAsthu na pUjyanthe tatrasarvAsafala kriyAh ||

An Approximate translation would be :

"Gods bless that place where Women are respected and wherever women are not treated peoperly, obstacles will come in all the way."

This is the verse I was taught when I was a kid. I could never forget this verse because I always asked why that elevated place for women? Why cant we say that Men and Women both are same. Ofcourse, a mother always scores over a father, a sister always scores over a brother etc.
Women were given this elevated status becuse they are the only beings who can create life other than God himself. Women were considered as divinity and sanctity personified.

Every year on 8th March I get this queer feeling that all of us are cheating Women. Men, Media, countries and the so called progressive people...all are cheating women.

On 8th March 2005 I took one of my office shuttles to home. I got a seat and was lost in reading a book on "Aghora". I was disturbed by a lovely voice asking me something.

She: why cant you give some consideration to a gal , at least on International Womens' day??
Me: Yes Ma'am, what can do for you?
she: You can see that I am standing, why dont you give your seat to me??
Me: Ohh...sorry, I am one of those people who believe in gender equality. I dont want to insult you by offering a seat. That will prove that you are weak and cant even stand for some 10-15 minutes.
she: You are sad!! ( this is most common in Bangalore)
Me: I knew !!

One of those Radio City anchors was yelling on top of his voice " it is International Womens' day and many wishes to all the women in Bangalore". I cursed his loudness and lost in my book again.

I really dont understanding these celebrations of Womens' day. I think we are caught up with western consumerism and forgot to respect our women in true sense. Almost all the Women in my office assembled on that day for 3 hrs and one of our VPs( a lady) addressed them.

I asked one of my female collegues about the it.

My Colleague: some boring stuff yar. They juss gave us some stuff to eat and drink. Then that lady spoke for more than 40 min.
Me: What did she say?
MC : Some shit yaar. She was telling us "what is to be a woman and working?". Then about dressing. ( I suddenly got interested...)
Me: What did she tell you about dressing??
MC: samthing. We are not ramp models, we are professional who come to work here. We should look decent and professional. Dress tells so many things about you and all that stuff.
Me: So, she told you people not wear those lowrises and tank tops at office??
MC: Yeah, something similar to it.

It was really funny looking at my colleague then. She was completely cursing the lady who asked her to wear decent clothes.

What botehrs me is people give in too much to the hype and forget the real purpose. Why shouold we celebrate a Womens' day at all? We are never heard of any Mens' day. When both the genders are equal why should we have special days for one of the genders?

Ofcourse there are many atrocities that are being perpetrated on Womne all over the world. But how does these days help in reducing those atrocities?? Do these days help those women who are actually marginalied in all aspects of life?

How many of these bigmouthed people who shout all over the media about Women empowerment actually do something about it?? Is wearing skimpy clothes and getting drunk on par with men a sign of empowerment??

So, who is the most empowered woman in India?? Mallika Sherawath or Bipasha Basu??

Rahul Gandhi as next PM

I found this piece in the comments section of Rajeev Srinivasans' blog. It makes lot of sense. He raises some valid points.
Just thought it would reach some more people if I put it here.

Thank you ACD:

Last general elections we saw pure arithmatics of local level & state level politics, uprooting a well-functioning & effective NDA government at the centre.

His suggestion that we need a Presidential form of government is more then welcome at this juncture.
Vajpayee would have definitely won over Sonia if that were the case.

Media in the country has strategically positioned itself with Congress & Left.

Another thing is BJP supporters are'nt as vocal & extrovert.Specially those from art & movie industry.

Movies are a religion for a very large section of Indian society.

People like Mahesh Bhatt,Shabana Azmi,Javed Akhtar & other page 3 celebrities are very vocal & shrill on their anti-BJP rhetoric.

And they have gathered lot of public attention owing to their impromptu outbursts.

Most educated Indians watch TV, read newspapers, watch cinemas etc etc. Very few actually sit back & analyse a news item.

Most of them believe & digest what they see or hear.

Hence Shabana Azmi becomes a messiah of poor by one slogan & Mahesh Bhatt becomes an intellect after one press conference.

With Media,Art and Movie sections of the country all against Hindus,
and Hindus concentrating only on the technical & science fields, we are loosing ground to secularists faster then one can imagine.

Just a casual look across the spectrum of people in journalism & entertainment gives a dismal picture of Hindu representation in these mediums.

And movies are a very effective way of reaching to people.

There have been hundreds of documentaries on RSS & it's activities from the secular cohorts, debunking the most nationalist of organisations. Or for that matter on gujarat riots.

How many from the so called intellect directors bothered to focus on Sikh killings or Bhagalpur killings?

Practically none.

We are seeing a near total squeezing out of Hindus from the most visible sections of society, namely Media & Entertainment.

What's worse is that an entire generation has been intoxicated by a heavy dose of MTV & Valentine's day.
This generation which is most likely to vote in next general elections has already been brain-washed into anti-BJPism.
It does not relate to BJP.

BJP has got the best products. But there are no buyers. Desh-Bhakti is a NO-No for gen-next.

We are likely to see Rahul G as our next PM.

A non-graduate dumbo, who excelled in annual display of non-Indian girlfriends. But what matters is he's got looks, money & power. And all without hard-work & and absolutely undeservingly.

That's what the youth is looking for. Power without responsibility. Money without hard-work.
There'a nothing more attractive for today's youth then fast-money.
And RG represents everything of that.

The return of the Champs...!!!

The UEFA Champions league started after a 3 months break.
Real Madrid defeated the Italian Champions Juventus.
The great master Zizu showed why he is still one of the best. The balance he has is some thing uncomparable.

But it is disappointing to see Arsenal maintaining thier poor run in Europe.

But todays matches arevreal blasters...

AC Milan Vs ManU
Barcelona Vs Chelsea...

Cant wait to see Ronaldinho raping the Blue defenders..

It is worth remaining awake till 3 am in the morning....

Un"flagging" the Cricketers...!!!

The govts' decision to order Indian Cricket team not to use National Falg on Helmets etc..is really stupid.Their contention is that the players might keep the Helmet with shoes in their kits. So, it undermines the sanctity we attach to the national flag.

I think recently supreme court has given approval for ordinary citizens to hoist national falg in their private properties. Does this give any clue to our Govt??

It is of our utmost national pride if some terrorists flood into Kashmir through the bus service by our govt. But it is insulting to see Sachin Tendulkar wearing "Thiranga" on his helmet.
Or is it a demand made by PCB that they dont want to play in India if Indian players are wearing Thiranga on their accessories??

We regularly see hoards of youngsters sporting US flag as Bandana. They think it is hep to sport a US flag on their mane because US is the richest and powerful country in the world. Whatever US does and whatever US is hep.

Now, govt too stepped in to help this culture. I see a day when our kids can identify all the national falgs in the world except one....the Bharatiya Thiranga.

Or is there any plans of Congress making it their patented Pary flag???

Uncle...why dont you call me a good boy..:((??

That seems to be the mentality of most of us and media.
Recent reviews about SLB's "Black" announce ad-nauseam that this movie is Oscar class.
Gimme a break.
Are really Oscars a benchmark for good movies??
What about Oscars given to some shitty movies like "American Beauty" ( many might say that it is a great movie...but why ??? ), Eric Bron@#$%( I dont know the spelling)etc...

Why our Indian media and audience go gaga over oscars? Why do we compare ourselves with Hollywood?? Because it is big, rich or are we still living in that age of western superiority??

If Black is really good and it doesnt get Oscar, what is the big deal?
Why do we say in every review that it is Oscar level o some crap?
Why dont we say it is a good movie?

From other perspective, I think it is for the market and money. If a movie gets or atleast gets nomination for Oscar and is played in some so called film fests the movie rakes in big bucks.

I would really love to see a review which says that movie is good and suits its time rather than reading that the movie is Oscar level and some generations ahead of its times.

Everyone knows that Western Industry is biased and they dont give an Oscar to some movie from a Third World Country. Still, we hope that atleast this time they would give it to us.....

But I really appreciate SLB for making a different movie in the times of Mallika Sherawats and Neha Dhupias. Bollywood these days is churning out either sleaze or some poor remake of a South Indian superhit.

Untill and unless we stop looking for Wests' patting and try improving our own standards no use is done to the Film Industry expecially for Bollywood.

Worst Criminals.....!!!

The Congress and other "Secular" parties have been repeatedly accusing Narendra Modi, VHP and BJP for the Godhra riots. The UPA govt has appointed a commission to enquire into it and the commission came up with a report within 7 days ..just before the elections in Bihar and Jharkhand.
Now, another report. The Nanavati commisions report of anti-Sikh riots in Delhi.
The Nanavati Commission report is presented to the govt and Mr. Shivraj Patel announced that Justice Nanavathi has given clean chit to congress party.
Where as Mr.Nanavati has something else to say.

http://in.rediff.com/news/2005/feb/17spec1.htm

In an exclusive interview to rediff.com, Justice Nanavati said, "I haven't absolved the Congress party."

The retired Supreme Court judge refused to comment further, but said like the Justice Ranganath Mishra Commission (which also probed the 1984 riots) he too believed the riots were organised crimes.

A govt is supposed to protect its people from criminals. But today, the govt itslef has become the worst criminal.
What is Mr.Patel upto to announce that Nanavati Commission has given a clean chit to the congress party which is far from truth. As a responsible Minister how can he lie in front of public??
Or are we going to see another distorted version of the report??

There is this incorrigible Lalu Prasad Yadav out of whom the Media makes a Hero.
He gave a statement yesterday.
"none can form a govt in Bihar without me"
What does he mean by that statement? Is he going to become a Nazi from India?

Our congress govt is successful in heeding to the demands of terrorist pakistan.
They are going to start a bus service from Srinagar to Mujaffarabad which is in POK. Ofcourse everyone knows that POK is the breeding ground for the terrorists who infiltrate into Kashmir.
I think they are going to do away with Visa also so that the terrorists can come into Kasmir easily. There wont be anymore infiltration through LOC because the terrorists will be welcomed by our UPA govt with red carpet.

Are they going to sell the nation???

Questions galore?????

Why the so called Maoist naxal menace has become so high in the congress ruling states??
Karnataka which hasnt seen this problem started witnessing it. 6 police were killed by naxals in karnataka.
Does it ring any bells? Is there some relation to this with the "left" being a part of UPA govt??

Nepal is our neighbouring country and a passage for China to make way into India.
Why dont we offer some cooperation to Nepal solving its political stalemate? Arent we giving a chance for another Chinese aggression?? Why to make another Tibet out of Nepal??

Why these so called Activists are protesting against the Geelani shootout? Where were these activists when the Parliament attack has happened and lakhs of Kashmiri pundits are being massacred in Kashmir??
Or is it another trick by Ms Arundhati Roy to stay in limelight??

Why isnt media questioning the motive of Teesta Steelvard in Best Bakery case??

HH Vijayendra Saraswati is granted bail by Madras High Court and the court observed that the evidence is not enough.
It also observed that if the court goes by what the prosecution has presented it has to convict the "prosecution " also because the evidences point that the "prosecution " also conspired the crime.

So , where are the evidences that Tamilnadu police claimed they had sometime back?? or are they waiting for the "right time" to produce the evidences??

How could the communist paper "The Hindu" get a copy of the ChargeSheet in the Shankararaman case even before the police submitted it to the "court"???

Allahabad Highcourt gave a ruling that "faith Healing " is not permitted by constitution.
So, are they going to sack Dharma Singh govt in Karnataka for allowing Benny Hinns' healing programme??

Is the Toilet paper of India ( TOI) became so news less that it printed "Prince Charles' " proposed marriage with his lover?? Isnt there a better news to print on the main page??

Why the govt of Karnataka trying to take over the Udupi Pejwar mutt?? Why isnt it taking over many Churches and Masjids which are also rich??

There is no end to such questions. The UPA govt at the center is really sleeping. I dont know what they are really serious about other than doing another "goa" and heeding tothe demands of their Paki friends.

Alarming....!!!

Ever since the Congress(I) govt took over the central and many other state govts there are many things happening which are quite alrming to the stability of the country.

The so called Maoist Naxalites are wreaking havoc in states of Andhra, Bihar, MP etc.
Most surprising is the support that is being offered to these moists by the govt of Andhra Pradesh. During the 9 years rule of N.Chandrababu Naidu , none heard of naxals barring one or two occasional police encounters. His govt categorically told the naxalites that if at all they want to get into normal life they have to leave their weapons and ideologies.

But ever since the congress came into power there I see a congress govt run by Moists. Why is this govt heeding to the demands of Naxals? Why there is a difference of opinion between police and govt?

I heard this rumour that the naxals have helped the YSRs' congress in Andhra to win the elections against Chandrababu. So, there was a treaty between naxals and YSRs' men that govt would show a soft corner to naxals. They even disbursed the lands of "many HIndu temples " to these naxalites. I wonder why didnt they offer any land of a Church or a Madrassa.

So, isnt there a politicain - crimina nexus endorsed by the state govt itself?? What is the governor of that state doing or for that matter HC of that state? Why are all secular , progressive media bigwigs and political analysts keeping mum on this issue??
Or is this an order again from "her-highness" command not to hurt the feelings of her "left" friends??

There is another imbroglio in Goa where the governor dismissed the "people elected" BJP govt in a very improper way. Things show very clearly that this is an act of vengence by the Sonia led congress at the center.

The Tamilnadu farce, disturbance in AP, pandemonium in Bihar, the rising Moist menace in various parts of India and the imbroglio in Nepal( of course this is something which is not in our control)....all these dont augur well for a strong and stable India. Arent we giving a chance to communist China to be aggressice again??Sonia Gandhi with her revenge taking tactics is doing greater harm to the country than the mujahidden warriors in Kashmir.

Vroooooom..............

It is really a great moment. Narain Karthikeyan is finally got a chance to compete in F1.

"All the very best to the fastest Indian"

Though I would cheer for Narian...still Schumi rules. He is the oldest driver in the Championship and no doubt he is going to win the championship again.

I think Narian should learn to finsih races initially and eventually he will climb up the positions.
Are we going to hear Indian National Anthem atleast once on the F1 podium???

Letz wait and see.

Of Padma awards and many other farces......!!!!

Our progressive secular governament has announced the padma awards recently. No wonder Romila Thaper and Mr. Habib are included in that list. There tow "eminent historians " helped our Nehruvian Stalinists in distorting the indian history. The deserve those awards.
But what surprised me is the selection of Ms. Gladys Staines. I am a bit confused. She is selected only because her family was burnt down by some "Hindu Fundamentalists". Everyone still condemns those deaths even though they dont talk about the kind of work Mr. Staines was invloved in.
Now, I am wondering how many women are there in India who lost their families in one or other such incidents. Does anyone remember Mr. Katyal....??? He was killed by Islamic terrorists in Kandhahar during that infamous Delhi Flight hijack. He was newly married and was bound to Nepal with his bride. He was killed by Islamic Terrorists supported by Taliban.
There are numerous Kasmiri Pandit women whose families were massacred during 1980s.
So, what is special about this Ms. Staines that she is selected for one of the prestigious awards of the land?
Pseudo-Secularists migh call me right-winged or fundamentslist...but I dont think anyone can justify the selection of this lady.

I have been thinking about these words for sometime...Secularist and Funadamentalist.
This is what Merriam -Websters says:

Main Entry: fun·da·men·tal·ism
:a movement or attitude stressing strict and literal adherence to a set of basic principles.

hmmm...I am really confused now..
So, any movement or thought that says it is the only correct way of living is "Fundamentalism".
Our Secularist shout and Scream that " Secularism" is the only correct way of living for humans.
Woww..what do we call them now???
Based on the above definition...they too are fundamentalists...I call them " Secular Fundamentalists".

Main Entry: sec·u·lar·ism
: indifference to or rejection or exclusion of religion and religious considerations.

So, do these so called Secularist qualify to be called Secaulrists???
If the govt at the center is Secular, why do we have a special penal code for some minorities?
Why there is a subsidy given to Haj piligrims and not given to Amarnath or kedarnath piligirms??
Why there is special status to J&K??
There are innumerable questions like this......

And people jump to conclusions without even thingking....Anyone who opposes these pseudo secular ideas is a right-winger....and Hindu Fundamentalist..as one of the visitors of my blog commented....

I dont know who it was....but he/she concluded me as a right-winger just by reading what I write here. Of course I dont mind being a right-winger because Secularism is what it is today....I prefer to be a right-winger...

Just wanted to add this to my previous post..

Whoz this Benny Hinn??

When I heard about his "pray for India" meeting for the first time I thought it is another "suvartha swasthatha sabha" of Brother Paul. But later I found that this something much much more than that. I asked some of my friends about it and they provided me with some very informative links.
More than anything else one thing that struck me was why only the congress CMs are going there? Is there any diktat from "High command" ( should I say her highness command)? The center and state promised him full cooperation and assisance in logistics. Some obscene number of people are supposed to attend this for 3 days.

Some 2 weeks back Mr. Dharam Singh , CM of Karnataka asked people not to conduct the procession on Dattajayanthi because it might hurt the centiments of "minorities". But he obliged to offer full cooperation to the healer Benny Hinn. Isnt it going to hurt the sentiments of majority?? ohh...in India majority should not have any religious sentiments ..isnt India a secular country??

Some freak Kriplani argues that he is a miracle healer and a son of God. Gimme a break..doesnt god have any better thing to do?? How many sons does he have??
Okey..for time being let us agree that he is a son of God and a miracle healer.
Why doesnt he go to Rome and cure Pope of Parkinsons' disease?

I think Sonia Gandhi with her puppet PM and puppet CMs in the state is completely working hand in glove with the Christian Missonaries. Just some very good info in these links...

http://geocities.com/bharatiyar_2004/cu.html
http://rajeev2004.blogspot.com/2005/01/chaos-at-press-conference-of-benny.html
www.joshuaproject.net

If you say anything against these so called Minorities..or for that matter if you support anything Hindu or say that you are a Hindu...you are a fundamentalist.....
but people like Benny Hinn and his junta who circulated pamphlets denigrating Hindus and their gods are "Evangelists". I really hate these Pseudo -progressive- secularists who preach Secularism to all the Hindus and forget it to preach it to the Semitic faiths.

I really liked these sentences by M.K.Gandhi .

It is impossible for me to reconcile myself to the idea of conversion after the style that goes on in India and elsewhere today. It is an error which is perhaps the greatest impediment to the world’s progress towards peace. ‘warring creeds’ is a blasphemous expression…why should a Christian want to convert a Hindu to Christianity or vice-versa? Why should he not be satisfied if the Hindu is a good or godly man? If the morale of a man is of no concern, the form of worship in a particular manner in a church, a mosque or a temple is an empty formula. It may even be a hindrance to individual or social growth, and insistence on a particular form or repetition of a credo may be a potent cause of violent quarrels leading to bloodshed and ending in utter disbelief in religion, i.e., God Himself.

This proselytisation will mean no peace in the world. Conversions are harmful to India. If I had the power and could legislate I should certainly stop all proselytising.

I cant resist from posting this piece from McCauley here:

I have travelled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief. Such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such calibre, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and , therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self-esteem, their native self-culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation’ (this letter can be seen at the British museum in London, UK).

I think it is time for a civil movement against all this Pseudo stuff.

JJ hits back...!!!

As expected, the TN govt has hit back with the junior seers' arrest after the SC's decision. But there seems to be no logic here.

The Seer was given bail by the SC on the ground that the TN govt doesnt have any substantial evidence to convict the Seer. Now, the TN govt claims that the junior seer knows all the details of the murder and arrested him for " conspiracy".

TN govt and TN police dont have any evidence against the seer and they arrested the Junior seer on the grounds that he "conspired" with the Seer. Isnt something missing here???

I could see only one motive behind all this.
The Seer cant enter into the Mutt and now the junior seer is arrested. The Mutt manager and accountant are already in jail. So, there is none who can adminster the Mutt in these hard times.
Isnt it conducive for TN govt and TN police to fabricate some evidence.

They claimed that if the Seer enters the Mutt he might influence the some witnesses in the Mutt. Now, what is the assurance that TN Govt and TN police dont influence the evidences as they have already tried?? Should they be allowed to enter the Mutt??

SIT has interrogated the junior seer some 2 weeks back and found nothing. So, do the TN police think SIT was not efficient??

T.N Govt
Since 2001, Sankararaman had been complaining about the seer's "relationship
with women" and on August 30, 2004, he gave the "last warning" to the Kanchi
Sankaracharya.

It was after receiving the "last warning" that the Sankaracharya called two
other accused and hatched the conspiracy to murder Sankararaman.

SC

Dealing with the prosecution claim, the Bench said: "There is absolutely no
evidence or material collected so far in investigation which may indicate
that the seer had ever shown any resentment against the deceased for having
made allegations against either his personal character or the discharge of
his duties as Sankaracharya of the Mutt."

Noting that the Sankaracharya had kept absolutely quiet for over three years
on the tirade of Sankararaman against him, the court said: "The petitioner
having kept quiet for over three years, it does not appeal to reason that he
suddenly decided to have Sankararaman murdered and entered into a conspiracy
for the said purposes."

At last,it seems that justice rather than law is taking its course. The Kanchi Acharya is given bail today by the Supreme Court.

Pseudos....!!

I never understood this word completely. Many people think others are pseudos and only they theymselves are " genuine and original " opinion holders. If we look at many people who are around us today...,...it is really difficult to differentiate between the pseudo and genuine.

Pseudo Indians:
1. They are Indians for the name sake.
2. They follow all european or American trends.
3. They think Europe and US are superior to India in all the aspects and if a European does something then world should also do it.
4. They dont know much about themselves and their country but they know very well about the geography of US and train services in Europe. ( Isnt that useful in showing off to wannabe "Pseudos"???)
E.G. It is Natural for a person born in Barcelon to admire his team and hate the arch rivals " Real Madrid". But for a person who is born in Inida and brouoght up in India both Barca and RMFC are same. He can either like both of them or one of them. But there is no reason for an Indian to hare Barca because RMFC fans ( domestic) hate Barca. As a third party he can like both with different priorities.
But these Pseudo Indians ( err ..do I call them Pseudo Europeans??) either they like Barca or RMFC more than that they hate the rival more than they like their team. And proclaim that those who like both Barca and RMFC are "Pseudo Football Fans ". Because a white European like his team and hates his rivals...these people just follow him blindly.

I sometimes wonder people who talk more about something like " those people are cheap" or "pseudos" or bangalore girls' fav remark " he is a sidy guy"....all these make me think that..
People who find these faults in others have all these faults. Yes, it worries you more when you find your faults in others.

Training travails!!!!

I really dont understand why I hate these so called trainings. Everytime I convince myself that there would be something or the other to learn from these and go into the training hall with some enthusiasm. But all this evaporates within seconds. I look at people around me and I ask myself why the hell I am here. I see people around me busy in noting down some of the valuable points. I try to hear those difficult to practise theories and prepare a plan of execution. But my mind starts wandering.

I work with one of these reputed CMM Level 5 companies and many people here are well reputed for their talents. After spending more than 3 years in sales and marketing I really dont know whether I made a wise decision to enter this field.

Today I attended a training which lasted for more than 4 hrs and was conducted by person who has more than 15 yrs experience in Sales and Marketing. The session we underwent is most acclaimed world over and famous among sales circles. Infact it is the most effective Sales training as perceived across sales organisations.

I dont know whether there is something wrong with my grey cells or I am too intelligent for these trainings...I didnt understand the purpose of wasting some 4 hrs for this session. Added to that there are some characters who reminded me of my school days.

I think eveyone of us might have witnessed this. When we were in school there is a competition among kids to comeup with answers in a split second and to show off to others how sharp they are. Most of the times many kids pick up this habbit of repeating whatever the teacher says as though they are the approving authority. Sometimes the teacher would be solving a problem and he has to calculate 2 times of 10 and we always find some student helping the teacher with that multiplication.

I always hated such guys in school and never answered any question unless I was asked to answer.

People grow up but old habits die hard. I see some 30+aged guys and ladies repeating whatever the trainer says and nodding in approval as though they are the authority to certify the trainers abilities and the trainer was happy about it. I was just wondering what would be the state of the trainer if all the attendees were like me.

But on a serious note, I really wondered whether the trainer believes in whatever he preached. It is practically difficult to implement whatever we learn in these trainings but we need to attend these trainings to earn some browny points in the organisation.

But I see one real advantage of attending these traings
" you pick up jargon , you pick some weird words and tomorrow you can give gyaan to any relatively less experienced or someone who coloured her hair ( this is not gender discrimination ;-) ) . You can even become a trainer without knowing anything. That is the power of this jargon.
